In this position, my wife and I spent several thousand dollars to help children in need buy clothes and attend driving school, which was lifeĀ changing for some.

I’m a current San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Sergeant who started my career at 17 years old and worked my way up to where I am now. Two of my current assigned duties are to manage a training and development program at my station and plan large public gathering events where, at times 100,000 or more peopleĀ attend. I work with numerous organizations, local, state, and federal law enforcement, and other agencies in this position. I have previously, and currently, volunteer my time with various Explorer posts, where people aged 14-20 are introduced to the law enforcement career. Both my wife and I started in the Explorer program and we have continued to give back over many years.

I’m also a current Deputy Leadership Institute instructor where I teach leadership concepts to department members.
Previous part time teacher for the Summit Leadership Academy Law Enforcement High School Program. In this position, I taught high school students who wanted to learn the law enforcement career.

Additionally, I’m formerly the Parks, Community, and Human Services Commissioner for the City of Fontana. In this position, I oversaw and attended numerous community events, including those where I worked to give back to those in need. I volunteered my time for the majority of these events and made personal donations to programs benefiting children.
